FINANCIALS

We are 100% committed to using our revenue to provide services for the people who need it most by means that are both efficient and ethical. The manner in which we display our financial information is meant to mirror the methods used at charitynavigator.org for analyzing non-profit organizations.

When reviewing the information, one can see that we increased our program expenditures in 2008 and ran a $70,000 deficit. This was due to cuts in programming for children in and around Boston due to current financial difficulties. Rather than abandon these programs, and leave schools without our assistance, we used extra funds to provide programming to the areas in which funding had been cut. We felt that to do otherwise, would be to abandon one of the main tenets of our organization, which is to provide services to those who need it most.
